Usva is always excited and enthusiastic about everything. Kind and gentle, with a touch of fire in the same package.
Usva came into our lives almost as if by fate. I had started looking at future litters and slowly thinking about another dog. We would have liked to have a slightly bigger home before the new puppy arrived, but one day my husband said: "We can manage with two grands here."
Just a couple of hours later, Pepsi's breeder sent me a message along with a picture of the upcoming combination and the message: "They will be born in two weeks."
Usva is a curious and energetic girl who loves to move and stay active. She also has a strong hunting instinct. Whether it’s a bird, squirrel, hare, or deer, her hunting voice can be heard loud and clear. At home, however, she knows how to relax and take it easy. You’ll often find her curled up in our laps on the sofa, as Usva is exceptionally affectionate for a grand.
We’ve already attended a few dog shows with Usva and she has done very well. We’ll continue her show career once it’s time to chase that final certificate. We’ve also tried a bit of Nosework and blood tracking, though we’re still figuring out which activity she enjoys the most. Usva loves to have something to do and is easily motivated by praise alone, even if staying focused can still be a bit of a challenge for this young lady.
If all goes well and Usva remains healthy and good-natured, she will be the dam of the very first Grazygrand’s litter.
